Whoever said you can’t have dessert for breakfast has obviously never been to my house. I mean it is the most important meal of the day, isn’t it? Quick and easy, smoothies are my simple, go-to breakfast of choice.
Desserts however, really aren’t my breakfast of choice, but sometimes I like to make exceptions. Today was one of these days. To preface, you should know that I absolutely love Saturday mornings. Saturday mornings are to me as the magic hour is to photographers. I love nothing more on Saturday mornings than to enjoy a mug of hot coffee or tea and to make a delicious breakfast. Today I decided to blend my love of smoothies + Saturday mornings into one delicious smoothie that can easily be savored for breakfast and dessert alike.
What is it about the combination of chocolate + mint that is so refreshing and delicious? This flavor combination has been one of my favorites since as long as I can remember. Mint-chocolate chip ice cream has also been a love of mine, but this smoothie satisfies even the strongest of ice cream cravings! I hope you enjoy!
